The Tallest Man on Earth
The Tallest Man on Earth was awesome last night in Paradiso and he is also awesome tonight because he led me to this amazing website. This website is called La Blogotheque and it is brilliant and wonderful and amazing and I love it. It’s a website that posts videos of what they call ‘The Take Away Shows’. The Take Away Shows are videos of artists singing impromptu in the streets, a bar, a park or wherever. It’s pure music. The video they made of The Tallest Man on Earth in a music shop is even a little magical.

¿Cómo estás?
Before I’m going to visit my sister I have a little time to post an update. I just realized that I never mentioned on here how my meeting with the big Utopolis boss went. Welllll, it went better than anyone could imagine, because since September 1st I’m the new Theater Manager of Utopolis Lelystad. Oki, now before you yell at me for misspelling theatre, my English dictionary just taught me that it’s not necessarily ‘theatre’ in English, but can also be ‘theater’. Which is neat, because that’s what it is in Dutch as well.
Anyhoo. It’s a big change for me. A very good change, but big. Even in these last two weeks I experienced how much different it is. It’s a very good difference though. I love the cinema and I love the people I work with and I love the hours. It’s pretty perfect 
.
Enough about that. I want to show a picture of my shiny car. Because it is very shiny! I spent all of last Sunday with Marinus cleaning my car. I do mean that I spent my day with Marinus and Marinus was cleaning my car. But I did help a little. I brought him drinks and made him burritos. I was a very good “girl” last Sunday. It took him 6 full hours, but this is how shiny my car looks now.

O yeah.. of course my car decided to have a flat tire just when it looks so good. Maybe he doesn’t like the shine? Might be a bit too much for his rusty eyes.

Mosquito invasion
I was browsing on youtube and found out that I’ve uploaded a vid in April this year. I can’t remember why on earth I did that back then. I’m pretty sure I didn’t post about it on this site. Or did I? If I did I officially have the worst memory possible and I apologize.
Anyhoo. It’s a little home video from when my sister and some of my friends (and later roommates) lived in a farmhouse in Dronten. We were supposed to go out that night, but there were some critters flying around to prevent us from doing so.
